Scotland East
The Scottish East Region holds three meetings per year. The meetings are held in various venues across the Region which spans from the Scottish Borders up to Dundee.
Meetings generally last an hour and are followed by a lecture in one of the branches. These lectures can be on syllabus updates, general technique etc and provide Continuous Professional Development for the members.
Our meetings are friendly and welcoming where members have a chance to express their views and share their experience. Information updates from Head Office and the Executive Council are provided at these meetings and members are invited to give feedback and discuss any concerns they have.
Our Regional AGM is held in September at Markinch where the Regional Office Bearers are elected. An update from the Annual Conference and Regional Financial Report are also provided at this meeting.
There are opportunities at each meeting to put forward suggestions for future lectures within the Region. Each year all Regions have a chance to put forward nominations for the various committees and the Executive Council as well as any propositions for rules changes within the BATD.
We would love to have you join us!
