The British Association of Teachers of Dancing

London

The London Region covers a vast area from middle to South England, across to Wales and down into Devon and Cornwall. We have two main meetings each year, one on the first Sunday in July and one on the last Sunday in November.

These meetings provide a valuable space for teachers to meet and share their views, ask questions, and put forward suggestions. We try to run lectures alongside the meetings which are fun, as well as providing knowledge and variety to the teachers of the Region. Our Committees are made up of people who are passionate about dance, in all the various genres, and with much expertise in their fields.

Where possible we provide support and help to our members, and any question or problem that we cannot deal with is passed to Head Office. In November we hold a Stage Festival in Essex which is a huge success. Sunday 9th November will be the next Stage Festival, and entry forms and details can be found on our London Region Facebook Page. London Region currently has a very proactive Committee, and we are working hard to encourage our younger and newer members to attend our meetings and keep up-to-date on all the latest BATD news and views.

If you haven’t been before, or are newly qualified, let me assure you that you will receive a very warm welcome.
