Highland Festival and City of Glasgow & Area Championships 12th April 2020 *CANCELLED*

****BATD Highland Festival and City of Glasgow Championships****

The above event, due to be held in Motherwell on 12th April has been cancelled. With the latest guidance and recommendations in relation to COVID-19, I think it is the only option to take at this time.

I had decided to stop banking cheques and not accept any further bank transfers a week or so ago, in order to see how events unfolded. For those who have entered but not had their cheques cashed, I can either destroy the cheques or return them. For those who have paid by bank transfer or had their cheques cashed, I will be in touch to arrange refunds. Please bear with me as it will take a little while to get to you all, but you can be assured I will refund all entry fees for 2020.

I will also be in touch with the people who had kindly donated to the Mrs Haggarty MBE sword challenge event.

At this point in time I don’t expect the event to be rearranged for 2020. Trophy winners from 2019 can hold on to the trophies until we firm up future plans, or arrange to return them if you wish.
