Miss Dance and Dance Master Heat in Helensburgh

2019 saw the BATD host their very first Miss Dance and Dance Master heat in Helensburgh, at the BATD stage dance festival and championships. Such a wonderful opportunity for our Scottish dancers.

Our heat winner – Isla Mcalpine from the Johnstone Academy of Dance in Dumbarton, and our runner up Ellie Wood from the Mckechnie School of Dance and Performing arts in Grangemouth.

We were lucky enough to have Mr Phil Winston adjudicate our Scottish heat, who gave us such valuable advise for the future.

Isla Mcalpine who represented the BATD at Miss Dance in Blackpool was placed in the final top 6 – a huge achievement.
