IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL UK TEACHERS
The Executive Council wish to make all members aware that as from 1st September 2022, Monitoring of all amateur test and grade examination results will resume.
It has been agreed that instead of all results being returned to Head Office as in the past seven years, this will only be for exam sessions selected prior to the examination day.
If your examination session has been selected, your Examiner will be informed as well as you following the booking of the examination date and prior to the examination day. You will be informed by the BATD’s Examination Secretary – Mrs. Heather Gold.
Until the Monitoring Group has met and is able to release your examination results, as before – no results, certificates or medals/trophies can be dispatched until that time. The Monitoring Group meet usually one a month.
Teachers whose results have been selected for monitoring should therefore not make any arrangements for medal presentation events for a period of 8 weeks from the examination date.
Invoices for examinations will be dispatched in the usual manner (on receipt of test/exam results from the Examiner) and payment details are still as current – ie: payment within 14 days of invoice to receive any relevant discount due.
Professional examination results continued to be monitored throughout the Pandemic. Now that the Monitoring Group can meet again in person, Professional results will also be held for the Monitoring Group meeting each month.
Please be aware that your Examiner will be unable to leave any examination paperwork with you – everything is required to be returned to Head Office with the exception of Starlite Results and the teacher’s copy of the Starlite entry form. Please ensure that you inform your students and their parents that results will not be available on or immediately following your examination day.
The re-starting of the monitoring process for amateur tests and grade examinations is in line with requirements for our continued CDMT Validation.
The Executive Council wishes to thank you in advance for your co-operation in this matter.
