Members Update

Dear Members,

Just to let you all know that there was a further meeting of the Movement and Dance Division of the Sport and Recreation Alliance 23rd June 2020, with Lord Addington in attendance. Lord Addington will be taking the concerns and questions of dance teachers back to Government to try to make Government more aware of the value our sector has in the community and the difficulties the sector is experiencing. Items from the Prime Minister’s speech came through during the meeting and Lord Addington was therefore made more aware of the situation dance studios/teachers are currently in. The SRA should be issuing a statement updating our position within the next few days, once the full impact changes to lockdown will have, has been thoroughly considered.
